Kuretake Fluid Graphite is a high-viscosity ink that combines graphite with synthetic resin. When polished gently, ink reveals a metallic sheen resembling traditional graphite.
Since it is in the form of a paste rather than a powder, you can easily use the Fluid Graphite alone to create artwork, but it is also easy to mix with other art mediums, such as the Gansai Tambi or other watercolor.
Fluid Graphite is a pigment-based ink and cannot be erased. Easy to draw with using a brush, drip pen, or fountain pen of choice. Great for calligraphy, hand lettering, illustration, drawing manga, journals, sketching, and much more. Recommended for use by both professional cartoonists as well as beginners.
Since its founding in 1902, Kuretake has cultivated its ink-making technology, and in 1958 it launched a liquid "ink drop". Black Ink takes the original concepts behind traditional sumi ink roots where Kuretake originated and has continued to create an ink that is perfect for drawing Manga and illustration lines.
Quality control to manage richness, density, and durability of ink are carefully considered when produced in Japan.
